Assessment
A specialist assessment and intervention model for families where concerns include denial or minimisation of harm. Exploring understanding, responsibility and the capacity to make and sustain meaningful change.
Standard Risk Assessment
Focused assessment of identified areas of risk, their impact and how effectively they can be understood and managed. Providing clear analysis of both current concerns and protective factors.
Viability
Assessment
A focused initial assessment of a potential carer’s ability to meet a child’s needs. Identifying strengths, vulnerabilities and any areas requiring further exploration before progressing to full assessment.
Kinship/SGO Assessment
Comprehensive assessment of family or connected carers considering the child’s needs, relationships, parenting capacity, support network and long-term ability to provide safe and stable care.

Assessment
Assessment of sibling relationships, individual needs and the potential impact of children remaining together or being cared for separately. Supporting informed permanence and placement planning.

Report
Independent assessment of a child’s circumstances, wishes and feelings, parenting arrangements and relevant welfare considerations. Providing clear analysis and recommendations centred upon the child’s best interests.
