Developing confident, thoughtful and skilled professionals.

Good practice requires more than knowledge.

It requires the ability to apply that knowledge when situations are complex, pressure is high and professional judgement matters.

Jackson Resolutions provides specialist professional development for social workers, independent practitioners, legal professionals, organisations and multidisciplinary teams.

Underpinned by more than two decades of frontline social work, assessment, family court and expert witness experience, our professional development is grounded in the realities of practice.

We don’t simply focus on increasing what professionals know.

We help strengthen how they think, analyse, communicate and practise.

Learning Grounded in Practice

There is a difference between understanding something in theory and being able to apply it confidently when it matters.

Our professional development draws upon extensive experience across social work, family proceedings, complex assessment, safeguarding, domestic abuse, neurodivergence and expert evidence.

This allows us to explore not only what good practice looks like, but the reasoning behind it - supporting professionals to develop their own judgement, curiosity and confidence in practice.

Support can be commissioned by Local Authorities, legal practices, organisations and professional teams, or accessed directly by individual practitioners.

Professional Supervision

Independent reflective supervision for social workers and other professionals seeking a confidential space to think about their practice outside of their employing organisation.

Supervision can provide space to explore complex work, professional decision-making, risk, boundaries and the emotional demands of practice, while maintaining a clear focus on safe, thoughtful and effective professional practice.

Available as one-off reflective sessions or ongoing professional supervision.

Bespoke Workshops & Team Development

Not every development need fits within a predefined training package.

We can design bespoke workshops, reflective sessions and professional development programmes around the needs of a particular team, organisation or area of practice.

Content can be developed collaboratively to address identified challenges, strengthen practice or support wider professional development.

More Than Training

Some professional development happens in a training room.

Some happens when a practitioner has the opportunity to stop, think and look differently at something they have been carrying.

That is why our professional development extends beyond formal training.

From independent supervision and individual report review to team workshops and organisation-wide development, support can be shaped around the professional, the practice and what is actually needed.

Because developing good professionals isn’t about giving people all the answers.

It’s about strengthening their ability to understand, think and arrive at better ones.
